Terribly sorry to hear that Mary Moss has passed. I met her at De Zavala and got to know her better at Daggett. She lived around the corner from me on Park Place with her glamorous big sister, Bonnie. Our birthdays were on the same day, April 2nd, so we often had our parties together, to save our hard-working mothers time and money. The last time I saw her was at the 25th Paschal Reunion, when she teased me for being married and not changing my name to my husband's. ("Are you one of those...feminists?") Mary was funny, fearless, and never afraid of saying exactly what she thought. She will be missed. (I tried to post a photo of us at the reunion--with Daggett classmates Teresa Foster, Terry Headrick and Debby Walton--but couldn't figure out how to do it. So I put the photo in my Daggett folder, which can be accessed as Jimmy Orr explained above.)

Like the other Daggett kiddos that have posted, I remember Mary as kind, generous, thoughtful and very funny. And she had the MOST beautiful hari!! I joined the Daggett group in 8th grade (moving from Louisana and I sounded beyond funny and strange with my cajun accent. I remember Mary being a sweet and kind friend (one of ones that took me in). She was always a safe person to be around and that is saying alot for junior high! A lovely person inside and out. Blessings and care to Mary's family especially.

I didn't know Mary very well. Met her our 1st year at Paschal. She was nice & had a beautiful smile. I recall she was fun to be around & loved her close girlfriends! I was in awe of her beauty & her gorgeous hair. Pure Perfection. Rest In Peace, Mary.

I remember Mary. She was always so nice and friendly to me at Paschal. I ran into her once at the Burleson Albertson's, maybe 10 to 15 years ago and talked about an upcoming reunion for our class. She was such a funny girl. She was always fun to be around. Sad to hear of her passing and praying for comfort for her friends and family. Rest in peace my friend.

Bonnie and the family, I'm so sorry that you lost our beautiful Mary. She was all the lovely things that people have said here and more. Her wicked sense of humor was fresh air and yes, I had hair envy. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and loved eternally. My heart is with you.
