I went to one of her yard sales around 30 years ago. She said Judy Johnson? We have kept up since then. The last couple of years have been busy because I have to help my brother in law and the grandchildren. I lost track of her. I lost all my phone #s when I changed phones. I looked hers up on the internet. That phone # was no longer hers. Since I wanted to take her out for lunch because Dec 17 would have been her birthday, I drove to to Arlington. The young person living there bought the place in March. I went across the street to her neighbors and found out she had cancer and died around a year ago. The neighbors said her sister Kay took it real hard. I read on our site that she loved Star Wars & Star Trek. We never talked about that, I wish we had. I belong to a SiFi club and she could have been going with my husband & I to our meetings all this time

Kim was always nice to me in staying in touch. I didn't know her very well, my sister Cris and her sister Kay were great friends for years. Gone so long and nobody knew. RIP friend.

I don't know how or why none of us knew about Kim's death. At a 50th reunion committee meeting I left the room to head to the restroom. Kim was standing by the ladies restroom door in the hallway. Apparently someone was occupying the potty. Kim & I chatted for at least 5 minutes or more. I wish I remembered what we talked about. Probably the reunion. Well, I didn't hear anyone in the restroom so I knocked on the door. Guess what. No one was in there!  Kim & I had a good laugh!  I didn't make the effort in high school or beyond to get to know Kim. I should have.   Rest In Peace Kim. I'm sure you're missed by your family & your orchids.

I was so sorry to hear about another passing. I grew up with Kim living down the street with her Grandmother. I guess that I got to know her a little better than others at Daggett. She was one of a kind and will be missed by all who really knew her. RIP Kim.

I didn't know Kim well, but I liked and respected her.  She was quiet and wise beyond her years, much more mature than the rest of us giggly teenagers.   If you needed advice from someone sensible and non-judgement, Kim was the girl you'd go to.    So sorry she's gone.
