Nora Bryan, 65, went to rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday April 27, 2017. Celebration of Life: 10 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Graceview Baptist Church of Burleson. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers: the family asks that donations be made to Mid Cities Pregnancy Center,. www.mcpcfriends.com Nora was a loving and giving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother who leaves a legacy of faith for all who knew her. She was a genuine picture of kindness. Even during her illness her faith never waivered. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and sought His glory even in her struggles. Nora loved quilting, teaching others, and spending time with her family. She holds a special place in the hearts of many. Nora was preceded in death by her mother, Emelie Boyle Hansen. Survivors: Nora is survived by her father, Paul W Hansen; husband of 46 years, Ron Bryan; sisters, Paula, Judy, and Edythe; daughters, Valarie and husband, Brian, Keri and husband, Chuck, Amy and husband, Donovan, and Ronnda and husband, Bryan; grandchildren, Jacob, Jared, Kayla, Connor, DJ, and Olivia.

I hope this post here is received by Nora’s loved ones in the positive way it is intended. I’ve been perusing the Paschal site lately, and I was surprised to see Nora listed as one who is no longer with us. 

I really didn’t know Nora at all. We never shared a class, and I’m sure she didn’t know who I was. But I can still recall seeing her in the halls at Rosemont, and later at Paschal. She was simply SO PRETTY!
