Edward Allan Blanchard passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023, in Longview, Texas. Born on December 26, 1950, in Fort Worth, Texas, Edward lived a life filled with faith, kindness, and a deep love for the outdoors.
Edward attended R.L. Paschal High School before furthering his education at TCC Fort Worth, Texas. Shortly after graduation Edward joined Burlington Northern Railroad and had 31 years of continuous service.
Edward was a man of many passions. He enjoyed the western lifestyle, western movies, animals of all kinds but especially dogs, and Civil War history. The allure of the casinos was not lost on Edward, as he found the thrill of the game ever enticing.
Edward is survived by his sister, Lou Blanchard of Fort Worth, Texas, and his close friend and caretaker, Joe Rosales of Longview, Texas. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Melinda Blanchard of Longview.

I remember Ed as a Cowboy-type of guy!  He was polite and to me he was a quiet guy with a great smile. Rest In Peace Ed.
