I asked Rick if his Lottery Ticket was really #001!  His response was...

Yes, I really did have Lottery Number 001 in the July 1, 1970 Draft Lottery (my date of birth is July 9th...the first date picked...unbelievable luck, huh?)

Your timing is ironic on the military question...The Navy Department is calling me again to serve in the Intelligence Directorate at JPAC (Joint P.O.W./M.I.A. Accoutability Command). Here is their website that tells what JPAC does to recover our soldiers and sailors who never made it home:
